WHAT DO WE OFFER ?Board and facilities: We offer one free room with facilities and also cooking facilities at the centre located in Brazzaville during all your stay. The room is equipped a bed and also a mosquito, a table and a chair. You have access to modern bathroom in the centre. Tea, milk and mineral water are available all day at the centre at your convenience Stipend: A stipend is provided as per percentage of students taught. Depending on the number of the students, the stipends vary from 100 to 200 USD per month. This amount could be spent at your convenience as your living expenses are already covered. The stipend is paid in installments as students pay their courses registration fees. Each student at the centre pays 10 USD per month for the ESL course. Living allowances: In total, we commit 400 USD to the intern or volunteer expenses. Field experiences in our areas of work: We also offer you involvement in daily activities of our programmes. AZUR Development actually works on Information and Communication technologies, HIV/AIDS, Youth and Culture projects, awareness on environment issues, Young women and leadership as well as rights of indigenous people. We have also partners working in other areas. Please visit www.azurdev.org for more information. Please note that your involvement in these activities could require knowledge of French. Visa application and pick up at the airport Once selected, we will send you an invitation letter for your visa application. When there’s no Congolese embassy in your country, we will organize a visa application for you at the port of entry in Brazzaville, Congo. Please also bring your yellow fever vaccination card. We will welcome you at the airport in Brazzaville and urge you to send your travel details as soon as possible as you get your visa.
