AZUR Development TeamSylvie Niombo, Executive Director With a Master’s Degree in communication, Sylvie worked in public media before moving into administration, finance and communication for UN projects and for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). She was a member of research groups working on international information and communication technology. Sylvie is a member of numerous Pan-African networks (such as APC Africa Women, ACSIS) and also of International Advisory Board of Kabissa. She has helped organize and coordinate numerous youth initiatives in Africa. Sylvie has published several articles on the use of information and communication technology by African civil society. In her research, she has collaborated with the Panos London, the CIPACO project of the Panos Institute West Africa, and the Social Science Research Council based in the United States. As Executive Director, Sylvie designs AZUR Development projects, establishes and mobilizes international partnerships, and is also responsible for the communication strategy. Victorine Diaboungana, Executive Secretary Victorine has a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, and worked in administration for the private sector. Having completed many training programs focusing on HIV/AIDS, she is a peer educator in HIV/AIDS prevention. Since the formation of AZUR Development, Victorine has been involved in both regional and national initiatives. In particular, she has worked to strengthen the partnerships between the organization and national structures. Victorine manages the organization’s communication with its members and edits our internal news bulletin, Kintuadi, which is distributed to our members. Blanche Olga Zissi Bintebe, Programmes and Finances Assistant Blanche has gained experience in the human rights sector in Congo. She has been the permanent secretary of the organization committee of the conference of human rights, peace and democracy NGOs She’s also a member of the women lawyers of Congo. She has been trained in the management, monitoring and evaluation of projects. Roméo Mbengou, Information coordinator Romeo holds a MA in Private Law, he has been involved in human rights activities in the country. He has also worked as a commercial agent for the Congolaise des loteries (COGELO). He’s actually editor of two electronic newsletters Lissanga Infos and Réseau Sida News. Roméo is also involved in the updating of the websites managed by AZUR Development and its partners. He contributes to the right of indigenous women and their families. Marc Foukou, Programmes Assistant With a Master’s Degree in Communication, Marc has worked for communications and marketing companies. Marc serves as both bulletins editor, and conference and workshop reporter. He has experience in conducting youth guidance programs. Since 2005, Marc has been involved in the development of various projects lead by AZUR Development. He is extremely capable as an activity reports editor, as well as in communication. Marie Christian Kimfoko Tusambile, Youth organizer 18 years old, Marie is proud to be a member of AZUR Development. She has led the Global Youth Service Day project and currently leading the Youth Environment Education Project (YEEP). YEEP that has just begun will reach in its first phase with 60 students, whose ages range from 6 to 15 years. Marie-Christian is an experienced youth organizer; she has a background in theatre and poetry. She is currently studying at the National University Marien Ngouabi of Brazzaville Ange Dimitri Niossobantou, Webmaster and Focal point in France Ange has worked with AZUR Development since 2005. He first became acquainted with the organization during a conference with students in Brazzaville. Ange is currently in France studying economics sciences and is enrolled in an advanced training program for webmasters. He is responsible for technical design of all websites managed by AZUR Development, such as www.azurdev.org, www.reseausida.org, our blog http://azurweb.blogspot.com and also the five discussion lists that we moderate. Thanks to his talents, we can better communicate with our beneficiaries and our partners. Ange is also our contact person in France. National and International VolunteersAZUR Development works each year with national and international volunteers. Volunteers come from these countries: Congo, Cameroon, USA, France, Canada, Romania, UK, and Italy, among others. Webmaster
