Leadership development

The objective of efforts to support pygmy women is allow the women to move from foraging to commercial productivity and economic self-sufficiency

This support essentially consists of:

  • organizing the indigenous women
  • training the women in revenue-generating trades
  • giving indigenous women the means to access stable financing for their ventures

Indigenous women working for the Bantous will work for themselves after this project is implemented.

HIV/ AIDS

Current HIV/AIDSS prevention programs for indigenous women remain insufficient.

AZUR Développement and the APA 2010 are currently developing an HIV/ AIDS prevention project in the Bouenza region of Congo .

Bee Keeping

Bee-keeping is allowing indigenous women to stave off poverty. The goal is to produce two-hundred fifty ruches per village a year. The Project integrates a component Le projet intégrera une composante pour la commercialisation du miel.

Scholarships

Scholarship funds for vulnerable children

A fund to give academic scholarships to vulnerable, orphaned children in Congo has been started for the next academic year. .
